Subject: Cincinnati review

The goo played at the Cincinnati Zoo on July 2.  The show sound a
lot like the Washington D.C. show that we received a review about.
Dishwalla did not do so bad...and I'm not a big fan of theirs.
Anyway...to the Goos....
Johnny started the show with the lights off, playing "Naked".  I
don't want to accuse or start a big arguement but....Johnny could
be blinded by dental floss when he came out...if you know what I
mean!!!!! I wont even speculate on the reason, but it was the first
live show where I have seen Johnny like that.
The crowd at the Zoo sucked because you could tell about half the
people were there because they had bought tickets to the series and
they had no idea who the Goo were!  A lot of people were way in the
back sitting on the grass...and there was plenty of room up
front....right by the stage!   Johnny yelled at them asking if they
were to good for the rest of us...and why didn't they join us!
Johnny seemed happy during most of the show which is surprising
considering the crowd.  He made several comments about different
things throughout the show.   He said that they were on Letterman
last week and that he watched himself on tv.  He said they sounded
terrible and figured that they would never be invited back there
again.  Then they played "Long Way Down".  They played a good mix
from a Boy Named Goo and SuperStar.  I would say about half and
half!  Robby kept playing with the Fire Flies!  But then again, who
wouldn't?!
Long time fan,
Kristi
