Goo's in Delaware

i, too, saw them BTWB and they were awesome.  It was some dive bar in DE and 
nobody in the audience could believe GGD were actually going to play there.  
Anyway, when they came out, the stage went completely black and over the p.a. a 
voice said: "We're sorry to inform you that the Goo Goo Dolls are unable to 
appear tonight.  But, in their place we have the KISS tribute band 'Black 
Diamond'.  At that moment you could here a pin drop.  No one said a thing.  
Then they ripped into a song and the lights came up.  It was awesome.

It was also the show that a friend in our group was punched by some A**hole and 
had his nose broken.  Johnny saw this happen and jumped off stage and broke up 
the fight.  The bouncers started to throw both of them out but  Johnny said 
that my friend had nothing to do with it and ended up bringing him backstage 
after the show.  
 
It was memoriable.
