Just commenting on the review of the concert that was forwarded to me. If
you think this of any intrest feel free to forward it.
The Maniacs were pathetic. The only two good songs were the first
and the last ones (I'm not incredibly well versed in the Maniacs so I
don't know their names bu they were old songs). It is pathetic to see
that they have gone into the ranks with John Tesh in New Age music.
PLEASE COME BACK NATATLIE!!!!! The BareNaked Ladies were their usual
amazing selves. Unfortunatly Stephan Page did not spit Macaroni, cheese,
milk and butter out onto the crowd like he always does in their concerts.
The set was not great either they missed some of their great songs like
"When I fall," and "Break Your Heart." The Dolls were incredible. A hour
and a half set must have contained 30 songs and about half were from back
albums. Not all of A Boy Named Goo was played "So Long" and "Aint that
unusual." Another thing I don't understand is that they claimed there
weren't any new road songs on an interview with the EDGE that day. 2
people were carted off near me both for drug use. One was completly
knocked out the other couldn't stand. One woman left with a bloody nose
from the 1 minute mosh pit. One last thing, Do you have a clue about that
big star in the middle of the floor?
