Hey all you GOObers,
Just got home from the concert at six flags/great adventure in NJ.  Rain
delayed the show for 1/2 hour, It was nearly cancelled.  We're talking
mosoons now!  Show opened with naked and went about 80 minutes, with a short
break because of a serious fight in the mosh area.  Johnny stopped the show
and had the house lights brought up so the security could sort things out.
 Then after the fight. they played name.  I think this will be my last all
ages show, because 3000 screaming 12 year old girls can be mighty painful to
the ears!   The band covered Disconnected, slave girl, and don't change.
 Most of the material was from ABNG, but they threw in superstar and hold me
up material for us old farts.  Sorta hoping to hear torn apart...Johnny and
robby interacted with the crowd quite often, chatting and tossing guitar
picks out.  A few four-letter utterances by Johnny disturbed some parents of
small children, but just because they play at a family amusement park does
not make them a family band.  It was a good time, everyone was soaked to the
bone from the monsoon, and they band played well.  The sound system (local
rain-soaked junk) was horrible.
