Subject: Funny Goo story

Well, since I'm in the posting mood of late, I'll share a story I meant 
to share weeks back when we were all telling our Goo stories. I saw the 
boys at SUNY Potsdam back in Dec. '93 and got the pleasure of meeting 
them afterward...mainly Johnny bummed cigarettes off me :). But the story 
is that besides being faced with a crowd (if you can call less than 100 a 
crowd!) that had no idea who they were (besides me and a friend who sang 
along to every song), George was having a HUGE problem holding onto his 
drumsticks...they kept flying out old his hands at inopertune 
moments...like in the middle of tunes.

Afterward in their dressing room I found out that George was pissed 
(well, playfully pissed) at Robby and Johnny because apparently they had 
rubbed talcum powder or something on most of his sticks and he couldn't 
keep a grip on them. Needless to say, Robby and Johnny thought it was 
great fun in an otherwise low-key performance (this isn't to say the show 
sucked...they ROCKED that night).
