Goo Goo Dolls In Toledo

Subject: goo's are the greatest

i just got back from my 2nd goo exerience, it was better then the first 
one with bush. I have to say the goos are the best band ever, live and 
on a recording they sound great. this experience was right here in 
toledo ohio at the rally by the river(outdoors). it was the greatest 
concert i have ever been to. the crowd was only about !!!60,000!!! for 
the free show. the greatest thing about the wole time was after the 
concert me and my buddy were walking around and when i looked behind the 
stage i saw mike signig 1 or 2 autographs for people. i tried to walk 
back but the concert staff wouldnt let me so i stood about 50 feet away 
watching.when he was done sighning i yelled over to him "hey mike" he 
saw us and walked over to us. i shook his hand and talked for about 5 
min. it was really cool because it was just me, him, and my buddy 
without any staff until this dumd lady came up and started talking to 
him. well anyway my buddy's brother works for a local station here in 
toledo and he came over ad got a picture. i was really suprised with how 
down to earth and normal he was, no ego or anything. i felt like i knew 
him my whole life because i know so much about the band. i really wanted 
to askhim how he knew all of the songs since george left but thanks to 
that dumb lady i couldnt, he probibly thinks im just another "name" fan, 
but i have all of the cd's and was a die hard fan before "name", they 
dont meet many people that even know they have 5 cd's and have been 
puting them out for 10 years. oh well, the picture says a 1000 words.
